Scribbles Matter

This instructor-led training is appropriate for administrators, directors and teachers of 3-, 4- and 5-year-old children.

Participants will recognize the characteristics of Emergent Writing and make connections between the Classroom Assessment Scoring System® (CLASS®) Domains and the Florida Early Learning and Developmental Standards (FELDS) in the Language and Literacy Domain.

Participants will gain knowledge of:

  1. Emergent writing standards and benchmarks.
  2. The connections between CLASS and the FELDS emergent literacy standards.
  3. Activities and resources that support emergent writing

STEP 1:

Register through the DCF website and search in “Instructor Led Courses” using the reference number 11795

STEP 2:
