Strong early learning begins with strong leadership.

The Early Learning Coalition of Sarasota County is governed by a Board of Directors composed of community leaders, educators, business professionals, and early education experts. Together, they provide strategic oversight, uphold accountability, and help advance our mission to ensure every child has access to high-quality early education opportunities.

The Board provides oversight, ensures compliance with Florida statutes, and helps guide long-term strategy. Members are appointed in accordance with state requirements and are committed to improving early learning outcomes for children across Sarasota County.

Meeting Information

Board of Directors meetings are open to the public and provide an opportunity to stay informed about the work and decisions guiding the Early Learning Coalition of Sarasota County.

Individuals who wish to address the Board must complete a Public Comment Request Card. Comments are limited to three (3) minutes per person, on a first-come, first-served basis, and will be heard during the designated public comment portion of the meeting.
