Working under the direction of the Chief Program & Policy Officer, this position helps ensure that disaster relief funds provided through the Florida Division of Early Learning (DEL) are distributed accurately, efficiently, equitably, and in alignment with all applicable program, fiscal, reporting, and compliance requirements.

The Family Services Navigator serves as the first point of contact for families visiting or contacting the Early Learning Coalition of Sarasota County. This role provides exceptional customer service by managing lobby coverage, handling inbound and outbound phone calls, responding to emails, and assisting with general office operations. In addition to serving families, the Family Services Navigator processes School Readiness (SR) and Voluntary Prekindergarten (VPK) applications, conducts eligibility and enrollment activities, provides Child Care Resource and Referral (CCR&R) services, reviews supporting documentation, and maintains accurate case records in accordance with state and Coalition policies and procedures.
