The Early Learning Coalition of Sarasota County is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that administers local, state, and federal funding to support early childhood education and provide financial assistance for eligible families.
We operate under Florida law and are accountable to the Division of Early Learning. Our Board of Directors oversees financial management and ensures funds are used responsibly, including adherence to state limits on administrative spending.
Each year, we:
- Complete an independent financial audit
- Submit required reports to the State of Florida
- Maintain public records in accordance with Florida law
- Monitor program quality and compliance
Our priority is simple: direct resources toward children, families, and educators.
