DESCRIPTION:This instructor-led training is appropriate for administrators\, directors and teachers of 3-\, 4- and 5-year-old children.  \nParticipants will recognize the characteristics of Emergent Writing and make connections between the Classroom Assessment Scoring System® (CLASS®) Domains and the Florida Early Learning and Developmental Standards (FELDS) in the Language and Literacy Domain.  \nParticipants will gain knowledge of: \n\nEmergent writing standards and benchmarks.\nThe connections between CLASS and the FELDS emergent literacy standards.\nActivities and resources that support emergent writing\n\n\n\n\n\n\nSTEP 1: \n\nRegister through the DCF website and search in “Instructor Led Courses” using the reference number 11795\nto ensure you receive credit.  Florida Early Childhood Professional Development Registry\n\n\n\nSTEP 2: \n\n\n\nAfter completing your DCF registration\, please pre-register on Zoom using the link provided in your DCF registration. After registering\, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.
